Jean Baptiste Elzear Burel, French Emigrant

Tomorrow, I will begin the first in a series of posts about the patriarch of the Burrell family in Mississippi. The story begins with Jean Baptiste Elzear Burel, a French physician, who emigrated to the Colonies during the American Revolution. Photos of the graves of two of Jean's descendants buried in Fellowship Cemetery in Attala County, along with some information about the migrations of this family, have been posted today on Cemeteries of Dancing Rabbit Creek. Please join me here tomorrow to read the first part of this family's French-American story.
